Gentle unveilings....

So, Saturday Essay. This is the first, a gentle unveiling to take the psychological first step......

At the moment the looming space ahead is the creative equivalent of a packed lift; a big square metal cubic full stop - keeps that teeming life and energy neatly at bay until the doors open. And the doors are definitely now open!

Form: Well, no rules at all really. Bullet point lists, punctuated philosophies, modern fables, cutting jibs, unpicked norms, flash fictions - it really is up to you.

Function: Bitesize chunks of now , then and whenever but they have to be bitesize - begs an economy of words that is a luxury not a chore.

Its a saturday essay, not a tuesday essay. Tuesday essays would be spiky I imagine. Boxed, ticked, shelved and end of. It's just not enough into the week yet is it to be fair? Saturday essays are blobby and runaway, bit unfinished and open so you can come back and add bits or take them away.

They grow unweildly legs and walk off on their own eventually, that's the goal.
